Professional Indemnity Insurance Programme

If you are a coach working in developed counties like the US or UK, you would most probably be asked to provide evidence of your Professional Indemnity Insurance. This is not just to protect the companies and partners you are working with but it also allows you to practice professional coaching to the fullest of your abilities with confidence and authenticity.
Although such policies are not as available here as many of these developed countries, you might have been asked for one when working with multinationals or overseas intermediaries. As requested by quite a few of our members, HKICC is pleased to announce the introduction of a PI Programme for our members to support the development of your coaching business.
The HKICC group policy is arranged by UPS Capital Insurance Brokers with insurer Berkley Insurance Asia and has worldwide coverage. Please refer to the Insurance Summary for further details and also the briefing recording from 30 May 2023 by Ms Milly Lok of UPS Capital Insurance Brokers when she explained the terms and requirements of the programme as well as answered questions from the participants .

This special HKICC member PI programme has an annual start date of 8 June and the annual premium is HK$3200 (+ 0.1% IA levy). If you apply by 1 September 2023, you will be joining the 2nd intake of our scheme at $2400+0.8 starting 8 September 2023 up to the annual renewal date of 8 June.
