From Passion to Practice: Nav

The reason why I joined HKICC was because I attended a seminar organized between 9gag and HKICC. During the seminar, I was able to understand that HKICC is indeed one of the most established and purpose-driven coaching organizations in Hong Kong. As a new coach, having a chance to learn from other well-established coaches and get the latest market information about the coaching industry are the key for my future success. HKICC provides a good platform for me to connect with different industry elites to fast track my learning curve.

If you're interested in coaching and you're in Hong Kong or connected to Hong Kong, HKICC is a great organization to join. The best thing about it is the diversity of people involved and the openness. It includes people with a wide variety of coaching backgrounds from brand-new coaches-in-training to very experienced coaches, including Hong Kongers and international people. Everyone you meet in this network is connected by a passion for coaching.

After I completed my coaching program, I felt so lonely. As I was new to the coaching industry and did not have any friends who are coaches, I was at a loss as to how or where to start my coaching practice. Fortunately, I was introduced to HKICC. The community was very supportive. HKICC organised a number of programs that were very useful to newly minted coaches like myself in helping them to kick start their coaching practice.

HKICC is a great community of practice. Members are passionate about improving the impact of coaching and the business of coaching. The level of sharing, support, and collaboration is inspiring. The greatest value is simply being in proximity with like-minded professionals who wish to create more value for the communities and clients we serve.
