Brick by Brick:  Creating a Vision for the Future You

Date: 18 Jun 2026 | Time: 7:00pm to 8:30pm | Venue: TBC

HKICC is starting a new event series overviewing various tools that can augment the coaching experience and impact for the coach and coachee alike. This first event is also testing the grounds for a dedicated special interest group in supporting coaches as they start their professional journey. For this first event, we are happy to invite HKICC member Katherine Sum to share her passion and expertise in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP).

Traditional vision boards are excellent, but what happens when you bring your aspirations into three dimensions? LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) is a hands-on facilitation method that uses the brain-hand connection to bypass the analytical mind, unlocking deeper insights and aligning core values with future goals.

In this high-energy, experiential 90-minute workshop, we will use the power of 3D modelling to prototype your professional reality. Whether you are a coach looking to have a clearer vision of your professional journey or expand your toolkit with creative modalities, a coaching client seeking a breakthrough, or simply curious about how the LSP process works, this session offers a fresh, tactile approach to goal-oriented coaching.

Please Note: To ensure an optimal, highly engaging experience with full storytelling participation, this session is strictly limited to 20 participants.

What can you expect?

At this interactive workshop, you won’t just sit and listen – you will dive straight into the bricks. We will begin with a dynamic “Skills Building” warm-up to unlock your metaphorical thinking. From there, you will actively build, reflect, and share models representing your core strengths and future aspirations.

We will specifically focus on:

●    How 3D spatial reasoning clarifies abstract career and personal goals.

●   The transition from a current professional strength to an action plan that support the ‘future you’

●  How the storytelling aspect of 3D modelling using LSP acts as a catalyst for active listening and deeper coaching conversations.

You will also have the chance to ask questions, engage in discussion, and connect with other coaches and coaching clients who are passionate about innovative personal development tools.

Takeaways

●   A Tactile Anchor: A physical, memorable 3D representation of what success looks and feels like for your professional reality 12 months from now.

●   Cognitive Breakthroughs: Firsthand experience of how spatial modelling and metaphors can bypass subconscious blocks to reveal hidden resources.

●   Methodology Insights: A clear, practical understanding of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® process and how it can be integrated into coaching practices.

●   Networking: New connections with like-minded practitioners and users interested in creative, interactive coaching tools.

Target audience

●   Professional Coaches: Practitioners looking to have greater clarity in own professional journey or expand their toolkit with creative, hands-on coaching modalities.

●   Coaching Clients: Anyone interested in personal development or seeking a breakthrough regarding their future professional goals.

●   LSP Curious: Individuals eager to understand the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® process and its professional applications.
