Reflection on the HKICC Reflective Coaching Hike

At HKICC, we believe in nurturing the whole person while building coaching mindset—because a refreshed coach is a more present coach.

On a cool November weekend morning, our community came together for a reflective hike along Bowen Road, and it was a powerful reminder of the strength we find in togetherness.

We moved beyond the theoretical and into the experiential. Between the stunning views and the shared strides, we created space for:

     Personal Reflection

     Storytelling & Shared Wisdom

     Building Genuine Camaraderie

A heartfelt thank you to our President, Nicholas Wai, for not just guiding us but also enriching the journey with his fascinating knowledge and stories of Bowen Road’s history.

We concluded as we began: with intention. Sharing the one thing we felt most grateful for filled the space with a powerful sense of abundance and connection.

The words of Robert Frost echoed our sentiments perfectly: “The woods are lovely, dark and deep…” For us, this signifies the essential pause—the chance to step into a restorative space, reflect deeply, and return to our “promises to keep” with clients and communities, re-energized for the miles ahead.

Thank you to every member who joined and shared their journey. This is what community is all about.
