What happens when coaches gather not for a formal event, but simply to connect?
On a warm March evening, HKICC members and friends came together for our Spring Drinks—an evening that blended conversation, reflection, and a shared sense of community.
Spring is a season that invites us to pause, refresh, and reconnect—with ourselves and with one another. Inspired by the spirit of creativity, openness, and community often felt at gatherings like Burning Man, HKICC members and friends came together for an evening of relaxed conversation and meaningful connection.
Our Spring Drinks on 5 March 2026 brought together a vibrant mix of coaches and industry professionals, all eager to engage, exchange ideas, and build new relationships. The energy in the room was palpable as conversations flowed over specially crafted mocktails and cocktails, creating the perfect atmosphere for inspiration, laughter, and belonging.
A highlight of the evening was a creative reflection activity led by HKICC President Nicholas Wai, who invited participants to pause and reflect on their personal and professional journeys—from the early stages of their careers to the present moment. The exercise resonated deeply with many, offering fresh perspectives on their growth as leaders, coaches, and individuals.
As the evening unfolded, the sense of community grew stronger. Conversations naturally turned toward contribution, with many expressing interest in becoming more involved and growing alongside HKICC. Rainbow, Vanessa, Paul, and Vipulshared their experiences of leading different “tents,” sparking curiosity and excitement about the many possibilities ahead.
While the evening eventually came to a close, it felt less like an ending and more like the beginning of something new—an emerging space for creativity, collaboration, and shared growth within our community.
Stay tuned for more opportunities to connect, learn, and co-create together.
