Our recent HKICC session (on May 27, 2025), “Using Psychometrics to Elevate Your Coaching Practice,” with the brilliant Kathleen Yu was an absolute blast! Kathleen led us on an illuminating journey, showing us that psychometrics are not just tools, but powerful keys to deeper understanding and more effective coaching. Participants felt truly “equipped” with “practical” applications.
Kathleen emphasized that psychometrics kickstart the coaching journey with self-awareness, providing valuable “structure and language” for impactful conversations in both one-on-one and team settings. She explored various types of psychometrics. It was clear that using these assessments can make the coaching process faster and more efficient, bringing “in-depth insight” right from the start.
Beyond just learning a tool, we truly experienced its potential to go deeper in coaching and executive / leadership work. Kathleen’s inspiring sharing, coupled with real-world examples and engaging questions from the audience, made for a dynamic and enriching experience. She even touched on how tools like Teamscape can be invaluable in team coaching scenarios, fostering better understanding and collaboration.
