SAVE THE CHILDREN Hong Kong is partnering with HKICC to launch a meaningful Pro-Bono Coaching Project in 2025! This initiative will empower our member coaches to grow their professional expertise while making a tangible impact by supporting the staff of Save the Children in developing their leadership skills.
We invite all HKICC member coaches to volunteer for this rewarding opportunity. Together, let’s spread the transformative power of coaching and strengthen our community!

About Save the Children Hong Kong
Save the Children Hong Kong creates lasting positive change for vulnerable children locally and globally. Established in 2009 as part of the Save the Children International movement (operating in nearly 120 countries), it focuses on child protection, mental well-being, poverty alleviation, and climate action through multi-level programs . The organization also advocates for child safeguarding and education reform, engaging communities via events such as the Learning& Teaching Expo 2025 . Aligned with the global 2025–27 strategy, it prioritizes children’s rights amid crises, ensuring children survive, learn, and thrive .
Primary Coaching Goal: Develop broader leadership influence and strategic impact beyond specialized domain expertise to prepare for larger organizational roles.

This initiative offers HKICC coaches a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community. Participants will gain valuable experience in professional Supervision sessions to discuss challenges and enhance their own coaching skills. Furthermore, it provides access to unique leadership development opportunities within SAVE THE CHILDREN HONG KONG, fostering growth while contributing to a vital cause.
Target Coachee:
Manager – SAVE THE CHILDREN Hong Kong
Program Content:
- 5 one-hour individual pro bono coaching of a team member of SAVE THE CHILDREN (may extend the no. of sessions if mutually agree on a fee basis) in person only.
- Supervision will be arranged for the coach during the coaching journey
Project Key Timeline:
Coaching Journey Starts : September 2025 onwards
Coach Selection Criteria:
Recruitment of an English speaking coach from HKICC members:
- Fluent in English
- Certified Coach preferred
- With 60 hours (Coach Specific training) and 100 hours or more coaching experience
- Preferably with NGO and executive coaching experience
- Commitment to fulfil all coaching sessions and participation in the meetings scheduled for briefing, sharing and evaluation of the project if any
- Priority may be given to those who submit their application forms earlier
- Selected coaches will be invited to a Chemistry Meeting for matching purpose.
