Education SIG – High School Parent Workshops

We are delighted to share highlights from two recent pro bono parent workshops delivered at West Island School (WIS) on 12 January and Quarry Bay School (QBS) on 28 January.
Organised by our Education Special Interest Group (SIG), these sessions introduced a coaching-based approach to supporting young people — helping parents strengthen resilience, deepen connection, and foster more constructive relationships with their children.
A dedicated team of eight volunteer coaches facilitated the workshops, creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences for all participants. Feedback from the QBS session was especially encouraging, with many parents expressing strong interest in future workshops and continued learning opportunities.
Beyond equipping parents with practical coaching skills, this initiative also strengthened the bond between our coaching community and the wider school community — a powerful reminder of the positive impact coaching can create when shared generously.
