Coach Profile

Angela is one of pioneers of executive coaching in Hong Kong with almost 30 years of experience in the people-development field as a coach, corporate facilitator and consultant in Hong Kong and the region.

She has coached thousands of clients, including international leaders, managers and entrepreneurs, supporting them to achieve breakthroughs in leadership effectiveness. Her clients deepen their self-awareness and widen their breadth of concern, expanding their capacity to cultivate and engage the collective wisdom of their organizations, and to create meaningful results in business and in life.

As a serial founder and leader of small business ventures and non-profit organizations, Angela has grounded insight into practical leadership and entrepreneurial challenges. She is likewise moved to support her clients to express their passions and interests through business and organizational innovation. She has partnered long term with clients in finance, banking, consulting, insurance, sourcing and hospitality, among others. Before moving to Hong Kong in 1996, Angela worked for 10 years in the Canadian forest industry.

Angela is captivated by exploring new perspectives, especially related to the state of the world, the meaning of business and work, and the secrets to a life well lived. She opens a window to new thinking, outside the confines of conventional corporate life.

Angela has an eclectic coaching approach drawing from many different sources collected over decades of experience. She works on multiple levels to support her clients in moving towards the outcomes they seek. Change happens through new cognitive, behavioural, emotional, somatic, cultural, systemic and spiritual realizations.

Open awareness brings new possibilities as well as embodied reality. Angela is dedicated to continuously improving her capacity to be with her clients as a calm, clear, wise, supportive presence. She does that through her continuous personal practices of meditation, relational mindfulness and emotional co-regulation. By creating safe spaces, she opens the possibility for her clients to express newly, knowing themselves more deeply and exploring new possibilities to find the clarity and courage to change.

The models she uses include adult development theory (Action Logics, Leadership Agility, The Leadership Circle, STAGES), Paradox Theory, Coach U’s Personal Foundation Program, somatic emotional processing and co-regulation, Neuro-linguistic Programming, integral philosophy, mindfulness training, Insight Dialogue, Relational Mindfulness, Toastmasters International public speaking training and more.
